Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and morning and afternoon snacks are made in house. Weekly rotating menus are available to parents. Meals include fruits and/or vegetables, whole wheat foods, and lean meats such as chicken, turkey, and beef. Salty and sugary foods are limited, and fresh water is available indoors and outdoors.
Indoor and outdoor active play are part of every day. In good weather, children play outside 2 to 3 times daily, with neighborhood and park walks, ball play, and wheeled toys. Babies have supervised tummy time and stroller walks. Physical activity is never withheld as punishment.
There are no TVs, tablets, or phones during the day. Families are asked not to send screen devices.
A clean, private space includes a chair, table, and outlet for nursing or pumping. Labeled expressed milk can be kept in a refrigerator or freezer. Caregivers work with parents on an individual feeding plan and share daily reports on eating and sleeping.
Diapers are provided at both locations.
Families are asked not to send food from home. For celebrations, please bring a healthy food item or non-food items like books, crayons, or clay instead of candy or cupcakes.
Both locations welcome children of all abilities. The All Means All Certification is held by the Saratoga Springs location at 688 N Hiddleston Way.
