Why infant care costs more
Babies need more one-on-one time. Feeding on their own schedule, diapering, tummy time, and naps all take hands-on attention, which is why care for children under two costs more at nearly every program.
What is included
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and morning and afternoon snacks, all made in house
- Diapers, formula, and baby food for infants
- Indoor and outdoor active play every day
- Art, books, puzzles, building, and circle time with songs in English and Spanish
- A screen-free day
Can I get help paying for childcare?
Many Utah families qualify for child care assistance through the Department of Workforce Services (DWS). Lina’s Child Care accepts the DWS subsidy at both locations. Our guide to the Utah DWS child care subsidy explains who may qualify and how to apply.
How to compare costs between programs
When you compare prices, ask each program what is included. Meals, diapers, formula, and supplies can add up if you have to provide them yourself. Also ask about schedules, holidays, and late pickup fees so you can compare the full monthly cost.
